- I’m married to a wonderful woman who practices medicine as a nurse practitioner. She has a lot of great character traits, but her superpowers are her loyalty and strong sense of justice. We’ve been married for four years and met in 2016. Life is busy, but when we can, we like to travel together.
- My favorite non-human on the planet is my dog, Kali. She is sweet… and a handful at times. She likes to fetch (unendingly), lick people’s faces, and ninja-steal food.
- My favorite genre of show to watch is anime. I love the combination of rich storytelling, fun action, and optimism that comes out of this genre.
- One of the biggest heroes in life—maybe the biggest—was (and still is) my maternal grandfather. We knew him as “Aby.” He lived to be 100 years of age. He was always joyful and kind, even to the end of his life. He made it his life’s mission to help people. I want to be more like him.
- I love the work I get to do as a trial lawyer. It’s hard and emotionally draining at times. But it’s meaningful because I get to help real people navigate hard things. I’m at my best professionally when my work feels meaningful in this way.
